Duette® Honeycomb Shades

These shades have small pockets that trap air and keep your home insulated from the heat and the cold. Those same air pockets also work wonderfully for sound absorption, soaking up about 70% of sound energy, making them the perfect choice when you want a little bit of peace and quiet. With over 150 different fabric colors, textures, and patterns to choose from, there is sure to be something that will match your unique personal style.
For installing Duette® Honeycomb Shades, you can use the Hunter Douglas SkyLift™ skylight system, which is a specially designed operating system just for skylights. It can be operated with a hand crank, or a telescoping pule for those higher and harder to reach skylights. If you’re looking for remote operation, you can even combine the SkyLift™ system with PowerView® Automation which will allow you to operate your shades with a remote, app, or even with your voice by connecting PowerView® to your smart home system.
Vertical Blinds
If you’re looking for more variable light control from your skylight, then a vertical blind is going to be your best choice. These blinds have a vane that can rotate up to 180 degrees allowing you to let in the perfect amount of light at the exact angle you want it. They can also traverse along a track allowing you to completely open or close your skylight. Both options offer 75% UV protection so you can keep your furnishings looking nice and vibrant.
